Potential Investors Hunt for Real Estate Treasure in Downtown Mt. Clemens
Picture perfect weather and greater than expected turnout resulted in a huge success for the Mt. Clemens Investors Open House. 50+ potential investors gathered at The Bath City Bistro for introductions and pre-tour networking. Mt. Clemens Mayor Barb Dempsey spoke of the many great opportunities in the city. Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel shared his vison for the future of downtown with a rendering of a proposed riverfront housing and retail project.
The group toured 16 properties that are currently available including the Macomb Music Theatre and the former Huntington Bank before wrapping up at Three Blind Mice Irish Pub for refreshments. Since then several inquiries have been made and showings scheduled for the featured properties.
The event was the idea of our own agent Sue Blanchard who worked with Mount Clemens DDA and Macomb County Planning & Economic Development Department to bring it to life. “This is just the beginning. Sharing the treasures of our city is going to be an ongoing project,” Sue said.
The event received some great local media coverage by the Macomb Daily and WXYZ/ABC Detroit. Click on images to see full coverage (Top image for WXYZ/ABC Detroit and bottom image for Macomb Daily).
