The Warmth Of Music to benefit The Macomb Warming Shelter will be Sunday, March 24 from 1-5 at Orleans Sports Cafe. Special Guests Jennifer Ann Wilson (WXYZ), Emcee, along with Live Entertainment performed by Edward Dupas, Larry Larson & Jim Woolsey.
Tickets $25 pp Including Buffet Lunch, Beverages & Cash Bar.
Neighborhood Bakery Changes Hands After 35 Years
Posted by Anton Sowerby on Thursday, 4 October 2018After 35 years of serving the community, Geloso's Bakery (located on the SW corner of 14 Mile Rd. & Hayes Rd.) has sold, in a deal brokered by Joe Sowerby. Former owner, John Geloso, said "my son has started his career and the timing couldn't have been better". The new owners, with a strong food service background, will be operating a similar business. Best wishes to both the seller and buyer in their new ventures from Anton, Sowerby & Associates.

Meet Your Best Friend
Posted by Anton Sowerby on Wednesday, 16 May 201825 years ago, our Joe Sowerby hosted his first Meet Your Best Friend event at the Detroit Zoo. Since then, over 25,000 animals have been placed in their new homes, with their new "fur"ever families. Meet Your Best Friend has become one of the largest off site animal adoption events in the United States. The Detroit Zoo, partnered with the Michigan Humane Society, will host the May event on Friday and Saturday.
